Beyond Being an AP, GCSE & IB Tutor
I am Dr. Anne Allbright and I serve as a consultant for university-bound students and professionals looking to broaden their education and get inspired. I guide students with university admissions and university consulting. I also provide elite tutoring services, including but not limited to creative and academic essay writing, test preparation, global citizenship education programs, such as MUN, and work as a general private tutor, including services for adults.
Dr. Allbright’s professional, academic and teaching background
I hold a PhD in History, two MAs in History and Museum Studies, and a BA in History with an education focus. I also earned an A.S.S. in Business. Currently, I work as an adjunct university instructor at Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, Texas, United States. I have extensive university teaching experience.I have taught for twenty years, including at American universities in various history, museum, and research related subjects. I have taught courses such as Student Success Strategies and Success in College Life. I teach many of the same soft skills to my students in various workshops and during private lessons.

Additionally, I work with schools and educational institutions all the way from elementary school to university entry programs and beyond. In the last few years, I have since expanded my services from Milan, Italy to the French and Italian Riviera and Monaco, among other European and American countries, for educational camps. Since I am able to provide online services, my ability to connect is limitless. Just because we might not be in close proximity, shouldn't limit our working potential. I have great relationships with my students with remote learning. In fact, over the years, I have developed lasting relationships with active clients. Most of my students return for additional services, demonstrating that I have earned their confidence and trust.

Qualifications as an AP and IB tutor
For more than a decade I’ve served as an AP reader for AP history exams. Additionally, I specialize in IB education, including PYP, MYP, and the IB Diploma program. I am also an IB history reader and mark their assessments/papers, in addition to marking Extended Essays. The points students earn from these assessments determine if they get university credit or not, or in some cases, if a student even gets into their universities of choice. I have been invited by IB to contribute to their history curriculum, since I am considered an educational expert and IB specialist. I am also a professional tutor, in other areas as well.
